The Aridus Industries Imperium Handguard is an all aluminum construction for the Beretta 1301 Tactical. It utilizes friction fit Front and Rear Collars with a nesting design, eliminating assembly screws. The Front Collar has a custom spring and detent modeled after the factory originals which helps keep end caps and tube extensions from loosening under recoil. The super low profile keeps the Handguard as light and handy as possible. With its one piece integrated heat shield, the Imperium offers 360 degree coverage to protect the shooter from hot barrels during shooting, loading, and handling. The secret sauce of the Imperium is the Patents Pending milled in texture. The enemy of recoil control is smooth surfaces and we have eliminated them. Hot, cold, wet, or dry, the texture gives grip performance never before seen on a shotgun handguard. M-LOK slots run the length of the handguard at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, providing options for match savers, slings, lights, etc. 6061 aluminum, Type 3 Black Hard Coat anodizing.
